As the title suggests, all of these songs were recorded in one track; me, the Taylor acoustic and a hot mic standing in front.  (I did, however, use a harmonica on one song.  It didn’t warrant a credit for the project title.)

Most of these tracks were written and recorded in the span of about two weeks, but some were written as far back as 1992.

This project was a stepping-away of sorts for me.  I had gotten mired in the possibilities of song production and was spending too much time listening to songs “in the works” rather than writing.  These songs are stripped to the bone.  The take away is: my friends in song can listen to this album, pick up an instrument, find their own melodies, and play along.  Just remember to bring those melodies with you when we meet again.
